This page is for organizing and documenting the support we will be providing the Conference Presenters each year.

Process for Providing Support to the Presenters:
  1. Update HelpDesk Team Strand Assignments Table (below) to show current strand names and convenor assignments
  2. Convenor of HelpDesk sends email to all Convenors with CC to HelpDesk team with a "heads up" that the HDTeam will be contacting them for presenters email.
  3. Help Desk Person Assigned to Strand.
  4. Help Desk Person contacted Convenor/Chairperson explaining about the support and asking for the emails of the presenters under the strand.
  5. Email is sent out to presenters - offering hand and contact details (skype/email/etc), providing details about helpdesk wiki etc., perhaps sharing timezone and availability.
  6. Wait for "help" queries from the presenters
  7. Share with other help desk people the type of questions you are fielding and update any FAQ's, help desk pages with updated information or solutions.
